About
Hi, I'm Abhinav Saxena
Web developer, Drupal and WordPress
I've built websites in both Drupal and WordPress since 2022. Steadyhand Web is how I help organizations whose Drupal sites have reached, or are about to reach, the end of security support.
Most developers work in one system and recommend it every time. Because I work in both, I can look at your site and tell you plainly whether upgrading Drupal or moving to WordPress will cost you less, and then do whichever one makes sense.
To show exactly how I work, I've written up a full Drupal 10 to 11 upgrade, step by step, including the parts that didn't go smoothly.
Why “Steadyhand”
An upgrade or a move should be uneventful. Your live site stays as it is while I work on a copy, you review everything before it goes live, and the switch happens at a quiet time with a plan to roll back if anything looks wrong.
Where I work from
I'm based in India and work with organizations in the United States. I reply to email within one US business day, and calls are booked at a time that suits you.
How I work
- Honest advice, even when the cheaper option pays me less
- One fixed price in writing, with any change agreed before the work
- All work on a copy, with a full backup first
- Accessible results, checked against WCAG 2.1 AA
- Your data stays yours: no copies kept after the job
